The two disciples on the road to Emmaus experienced comfort from ‘a stranger’ who walked with them in their time of sorrow and confusion. Later, it was revealed that the secret stranger was in fact, Jesus. These prayers invite children to offer acts of kindness to others by walking with them, giving help and encouragement.
