Our Catholic Faith Makes Us Unique
We Stand On Holy Ground
Welcome to St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Primary School
Our website has been designed to give you an introduction to the life of our happy and successful school which has been serving the Catholic communities of Willesden and Harlesden since 1886. We are very proud of its long tradition of high quality Catholic education.
St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Primary School is highly regarded within the local community and by the London Borough of Brent who has placed it in their highest category of schools. We had a successful Ofsted in 2013 when the school was judged 'Outstanding' in all areas of the inspection and St Joseph's is now a National Support School. Mrs Titus, Headmistress, is a National Leader of Education and is an Additional Inspector.
St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Primary School is a fully inclusive Catholic primary school community. By choosing this school for their children, it is considered that parents have agreed to them having full participation in every aspect of the curriculum. This includes religious education, physical education, sports lessons, music lessons and all school trips including those to places of worship and our parish church.
- We are a Catholic primary school with very strong moral values and a traditional approach to behaviour and discipline; we expect our families to subscribe to our values
- We value democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance; we believe in honesty and trust
- We seek to encourage the highest standards in academic achievement, social responsibility and personal development in a specifically Catholic environment
- We have an unrelenting focus on raising standards in all aspects of school life (spiritual, moral, academic and social) so that each student can develop their God-given talents to the full and be the best that they can be
At St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Primary School we expect high standards of conduct from all members of our school community and place considerable emphasis on inclusion. The school community consists of dedicated staff, priests and governors supported by the ‘Friends of St Joseph’s’. We are a parish school and as such we have close links with our church, the Shrine of Our Lady of Willesden, which we foster and value.
In short, we are a thriving school with a real Catholic community of 500 girls and boys, 75 staff and a flourishing nursery. Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
